A clever choice for the future! We strongly believe in the importance of showing youngsters the joy of nature. The Birkebeiner packs are built to grow with the kid and are featured just as well as our packs for adults. Easily adjustable to accomodate for growing kids and variations in outerwear throughout the seasons the QuickAdjust™ II system can be dialed in for a perfect fit without hazzle. This is important because a well-adjusted pack is far more comfortable to carry and makes the pack last longer because it grows with your kid. The Birkebeiner packs are designed to improve kids and youngsters experience of being outdoors, wheather they hike, camp or just play around. Birkebeiner Jr 30 is a fully functional, lightweight hiking pack for kids. The buckles on Birkebeiner Jr 30 are designed to open easily. A rain cover follows the pack. The general recommendation is that the backpack should not be loaded to more than 10-15% of the child's own body weight.

Top lid: Top lid with two external pockets.

Carrying system: With the QuickAdjust™ II, the back packs torso height can easily be adjusted according to the back length of the body. The back pack is anatomically shaped with soft back panel and adjustable harness with comfortable hip belt. Spring steel frame. Adjustable load lifters.

Pack: The classic top opening design with spin drift collar. Dual compartment with floating divider. Zippered access to lower compartment. Two compression straps on each side. Two bottom equipment straps.

Pockets: Large mesh side pockets.

Additional functions: Rain cover in separate pocket. Additional attachment points for PLUS straps. Grab handle. YKK zippers. Key hook. Child friendly buckles. The product contains bluesign® approved trimmings. Machine washable (30°C) – First remove the metal frame from the back of the inside of the backpack. It is hidden behind a pocket with a velcro lid. After wash it can be a bit tricky to get it back behind the corner straps, but if you use an unsharp tool, like a spoon, you can flip the strap back over.
