Product Maintenance

• Before washing, consider whether your garment needs washing or whether it is worth removing stains or just airing it. Wool in particular benefits from being aired instead of washed if it is only to remove odours. Washing clothes consumes water and energy. Only wash full machines, and you save both money, detergent and the environment.

• Remove stains as soon as they are discovered, it is easier to remove new stains and you then know what has caused them.

• All products have washing instructions, and it is important that these are followed to get a good result after washing. We always mark the garments with the highest permitted temperature. However, please choose a lower washing temperature to save energy.

• Sort the laundry - wash similar colors together.

• Close all zips and turn the garment inside out.

• Use the right amount of detergent! Too much detergent makes it harder to rinse the soap out, and you will get a worse washing result. Find out whether you have hard or soft water in your municipality and follow the dosage of the detergent. Soft water does not require as much detergent as hard water. Wool and down are washed with soap without enzymes, other materials are washed with ordinary detergent. Feel free to use eco-labelled detergent.

• None of our products require fabric softener. Fabric softener is not only an unnecessary expense, but also contributes to the unnecessary use of chemicals.

• When the garment is not in use, close all zips and hang it away. Down should not be compressed when stored, it hangs freely to preserve the down's elasticity and its good properties better.
