Overview

The flagship of our backpack collection just got an update! Alpinist V6 Large 130L is one of our biggest and most sturdy pack, developed to tackle extreme challenges in rough environments. The rock-solid pack features the QSS VI carrying system, designed for comfortable transportation of the heaviest loads. This latest edition of the Alpinist packs is updated with CORDURA® fabric and Bergans FlowPanel™ on the back. The fabric is lightweight without sacrificing durability, and the renewed back panel provide enhanced airflow and ventilation between the pack and your back. A clever feature is the detachable top lid that can be converted into a spacious hip pack. Incredibly useful when you stay in base camp and suddenly get the urge to explore the surrounding areas.

Top lid: The detachable top lid can become a 10L hip pack for day trips. The lid is height adjustable and with two big external zippered pockets.

Carrying system: The sixth generation QSS VI makes the backpack lighter and more comfortable than ever. The weight is transferred by means of shock absorbers that reduce the strain. Individual height adjustment for left and right shoulder strap. Bergans FlowPanel™ ventilated back panel. Adjustable top tension straps.

Pack: The spacious main compartment can be divided into two separate compartments, and the large front opening gives you access to everything you have with you. Top opening with spindrift collar.

Pockets: Two big zippered side pockets (3,5L each side pocket) with the possibility to fasten skis, hiking poles or fishing rods behind. Large zippered front pocket to organize your gear.

Hip belt: Comfortable hip belt with a wide range of motion. Sled attachment points. Stabilizing straps that improve stability by pulling the pack closer to your body.

Additional functions: Back, shoulder straps and hip belt with ventilating mesh. Side compression straps can be turned to front of the pack, in order to fasten your gear. The new Alpinist is featured with numerous PLUS system fastening points. 2 pieces multifunction PLUS system accessory straps are provided with the pack. Adjustable sternum strap. Key hook.
