Y MountainLine Hybrid Softshell Jacket is a lightweight garment built for mountaineering, scrambling, and hiking in alpine terrains. Designing a technical garment for high-output mountain activities like ski-touring, is all about weighing up different considerations in the search for the optimal balance. Here you’ll get an advanced hybrid fabric construction providing weather resistance, breathability, flexibility and packability. The protective panels are placed on the most exposed areas like the torso front, hood, shoulders, and upper arms. Less exposed areas are covered with a stretchy softshell fabric to secure moisture transportation and airflow, and to allow movement. As a proper mount ... ain garment, the hood is fitted for use with helmet with a 3-way tightening to tune in the perfect fit and sight. This tightening includes an inner seal brim that obtain complete weather protection to your head, neck, and lower face, both with and without helmet. If you have look on the inside, you’ll find a stash pocket. Spacious pockets for cold hands or other things are on the front, placed just high enough to not interfere with your climbing harness. A clever little detail on the left front pocket is an additional napoleon opening, to give easy access to your most important gadgets regardless of which hand you have free. Hood: Ski helmet compatible, fixed hood. Triple adjustment storm hood with an inner seal brim for complete weather protection to your head, neck, and lower face, both with and without helmet. Stiffed brim.

Pockets: Extra-large zippered hand pockets, with an additional zippered napoleon pocket opening on the left-hand side. Inside the additional napoleon pocket opening you will find a small, zippered chest pocket for smaller items and a key hook. Inside Stash pocket. Hand pockets are compatible with climbing harness and backpack.

Ventilation: Long 2-way underarm zip vents, with double function so you can put your arms through the openings and wear the jacket as a vest on warmer days.

Additional features: Velcro cuff adjustment. Shaped sleeve hem. Flap behind front zipper. Articulated elbow section for excellent freedom of movement.
