Protective and packed with functionality! This updated version of the Myrkdalen V2 Insulated W Jacket is given several centimeters extra in length and a straighter fit than the previous style. The waterproof, windproof, and breathable 2-layer Dermizax® fabric (water column: min. 20,000 mm) and Primaloft® Black Eco insulation, provide all you need of warmth and protection from the elements. Myrkdalen V2 Insulated W Jkt is also packed with functions and details. Let’s take it from the top with the double function hood that is expandable for use with helmet. When you expand it a signal colored panel comes to light. This makes you more visible to skiers behind you. When you are done skiing you c ... an shrink the hood back to perfect head fit. For those who don’t appreciate snow in their pants Myrkdalen V2 Insulated W Jacket comes with good news. The snow skirt is equipped with little hoops that can be mounted into the beltloops on most of our ski pants. This creates a tighter transition between the jacket and the pants. To prevent snow from accumulating and moisten the jacket from the inside, the waterproof outer fabric is drawn around the lower back edge and upwards inside of the jacket. Simple and clever! The jacket is also equipped with dedicated pockets for ski pass and googles. An eye-catching detail on the jacket is the Velcro adjustments at the bottom of the jacket front. Ventilation: Long underarm zip vents with double function so that you can put your arms through the openings. 2-way zip in front.

Additional features: Recco® reflector on hood. Detachable snow skirt with loops and snap buttons that can be mounted into most of our ski pants. Articulated elbows for increased freedom of movement. Enlarged cuff and bottom hem adjustment flaps, easy to grab with gloves. Inner flap with drainage behind front zipper. No shoulder seams for less friction and chafing. Straight fit. Recco

RECCO® is a maintenance-free reflector which helps search and rescue crews during searches for people who have been caught in an avalanche. At Bergans we have chosen to sew in a RECCO® search reflector in some of our products. This neither guarantees that you will be found, nor that you will not be caught in an avalanche. But where a RECCO® searcher is in place, the reflector on the garments can be of good help for search and rescue crews. The RECCO® reflector is maintenance-free and does not require activation. It functions as a transporter of radio waves, cannot activate alarm systems, and will not be destroyed by de-magnetization.
