Ski and be seen! This updated version of the Myrkdalen V2 3L Jacket is given several centimeters extra in length and a straighter fit than the previous style. The waterproof, windproof, and breathable 3-layer Dermizax® fabric (water column: min. 20,000 mm), provide all you need of protection from the elements. Myrkdalen 3L Jkt is also packed with functions and details. Let’s take it from the top. The double functional hood is expandable for use with helmet, and when you expand it a signal colored panel comes to light. This makes you more visible to your fellow skiers. When you are done skiing you are able to shrink the hood back to head fit. The jacket's articulated elbows are also designed ... with a signal-colored insert panel that becomes visible as you bend your arm ninety degrees or more. Also, to increase your visibility! For those who don’t appreciate snow in their pants Myrkdalen V2 3L Jacket comes with good news. The snow skirt is equipped with little hoops that can be mounted into the beltloops on most of our ski pants. This creates a tighter transition between the jacket and the pants. The jacket is also equipped with dedicated pockets for ski pass and googles. An eye-catching detail on the jacket is the Velcro adjustments at the bottom of the jacket front. Fit: Relaxed fit. The fit of this garment was developed specially for use with layered clothing. This means it offers good freedom of movement, even over mid-layer garments.

Fabric details: 3-layer Dermizax® with 2-way stretch. Waterproof (water column: min. 20,000 mm), windproof and breathable. Comfortable and quick-drying moisture absorption material at neck and chin guard. Product contains bluesign® APPROVED fabrics and trimmings.

Hood: Large, adjustable hood with double function; expandable for use with helmet, and when you expand it a signal colored panel comes to light. This makes you more visible to your fellow skiers. High collar and visor.

Pockets: Large zippered front pockets. Zippered chest pocket. Zippered inner pocket. Goggle pocket in mesh inside. Ski pass pocket.

Ventilation: Long underarm zip vents with double function so that you can put your arms through the openings. 2-way zip in front.

Additional features: Recco® reflector on hood. Detachable snow skirt with loops and snap buttons that can be mounted into most of our ski pants. Articulated elbows with expandable signal-colored insert panel for enhanced visibility and movability. Enlarged cuff and bottom hem adjustment flaps, easy to grab with gloves. Recco

RECCO® is a maintenance-free reflector which helps search and rescue crews during searches for people who have been caught in an avalanche. At Bergans we have chosen to sew in a RECCO® search reflector in some of our products. This neither guarantees that you will be found, nor that you will not be caught in an avalanche. But where a RECCO® searcher is in place, the reflector on the garments can be of good help for search and rescue crews. The RECCO® reflector is maintenance-free and does not require activation. It functions as a transporter of radio waves, cannot activate alarm systems, and will not be destroyed by de-magnetization.
